Influenster Holly Jolly Voxbox Review – December 2013

Last month I was kindly sent the Holly Jolly Voxbox from Influenster. It’s a fun little box, full of all sorts of goodies that I’ve never tried before.

Influenster Holly Jolly Voxbox 2013

Duck Tape Brand Washi Tape – Sorry, but I don’t understand the blog world’s obsession with this stuff. I don’t personally love this pattern so I doubt this will get used. (Full Size $5)

NYC Colors HD Color Trio – OH! I found a use for the Washi tape after all! Just kidding. This palette is a nice set of neutrals. The colors look nice, however they aren’t very pigmented. They go on smooth, but because of the lack of pigmentation, I have a hard time recommending this to anyone over the age of 16. (Full Size $2.99)

Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquer in Luna – Sorry, this jut wasn’t working for me. It goes on kind of strangely and the pigmentation doesn’t settle well on my lips. I liked some of the other colors though, so maybe its just this particular one? Not sure. Apparently the ingredients list isn’t so good either. (Full Size $5)

SkinnyCow Divine Filled Chocolates in Peanut Butter Creme – YUM. So good. Now I will be honest, I didn’t read the ingredients list, and it could be scary, but these are too delicious to not eat. Highly recommend! (Full Size $9)

Puffs Plus Lotion Tissues – I mean, these are a bit random, but ok. They’re tissues. They do the job of wiping up things and blowing my nose into if necessary. They’re in a handy size, so they fit in my purse and in the console of my car nicely. (Full Size $12)

So that was the Holly Jolly Voxbox from Influenster. I think it was fun to be able to try these things for free, but the only one I can honestly give a recommendation to is the SkinnyCow chocolates. Those were darn tasty. The Puffs are good too, if you’re in need of a restock of tissues.
