You know those days where it seems like everything is going wrong, but then it all turns around? That was my day last Thursday. I had the privilege of being invited to the media preview night for the LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil under the big top at Marymoor Park in Redmond, and while my night started off rocky, it ended in a beautiful performance that I can’t recommend enough.
Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets from Cirque du Soleil in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own!
I’ll set the stage by explaining these photos. You see, I had planned a full outfit to share what I wore to the show, as this is a style and beauty blog after all… but then as soon as I went to snap my first test photo, my beloved Canon 70D locked up. It error coded, and I died a little inside, but the show must go on, right? In shock, I had Dave help me get outfit photos on my iPhone. As much as I hear people harp about how amazing iPhone photos are… I’m just going to be honest and say I don’t think I’ll be switching anytime soon. ;)
Earlier this week, Fred Meyer in Bellevue reopened, and I had the opportunity, along with a few blog friends, to visit the store for a preview party before it opened to the public. To say the new store in Bellevue is stunning is an understatement. The store has expanded many of the popular sections like the deli, bakery, and beer and wine, as well as added a wine and beer bar (yes you can drink in store!), sushi counter, seating area, and a giant Starbucks. With the store serving as a WiFi hot spot, you can move in. Okay, maybe not, but it sure would be convenient. ;)
Disclosure: Thanks so much to Fred Meyer for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.

When bloggers get together, we often have a lot of fun. My friend Megan and I took to the front of the store where some of the season’s best flowers were for a little photo shoot. I had recently shopped at Fred Meyer for some new on-trend spring items and came up with this outfit.
Who’s ready to party?! This Saturday I’m excited to share that I’m partnering with local boutique, Divalani Style, in Bellevue to host a shopping party. We’ll be celebrating all things spring fashion (because honestly, your girl is ready for some better weather ASAP!)
There will be sweet treats and sips, great company, and a fabulous boutique to shop! During the event, there will be several giveaways happening and the first 15 guests will take home a goodie bag too!
I’m so excited to shop great brands like Splendid, Sundry, Kendra Scott, and Mavi Jeans with you! Whether you’re looking to upgrade your wardrobe for spring, have a particular style need, or just want to come out and have some fun, there will be something for everyone. Trying on your favorites is highly encouraged, and trust me you’ll be tempted by everything in the store! This jumpsuit is by Miami-based Sen Collection and is not only incredibly stylish but also super comfy. Divalani is very much about that glam life, but they also are all about that comfort too!
The fun starts this coming Saturday, 3/18 at 3pm and will continue until 6pm. Divalani Style is located at 11000 NE 10th St Suite C in Bellevue WA. Feel free to bring a friend and let me know you’ll be joining us by shooting me a quick email, or you can Tweet me or send me a DM or comment on my most recent Instagram .
I can’t wait to see you!

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to co-host a tea party at the Four Seasons Seattle in Seattle with Burberry Beauty and Fresh Skincare. With the stress of moving and getting the condo prepared for sale, it was the perfect escape opportunity! Note to anyone in the process of making a huge life change: always make time to treat yourself, whatever that means to you!
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon when I arrived in Downtown Seattle, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue. Views of downtown and the pier out the large windows of the Cypress room were the perfect backdrop for delicious Tea Forte tea and accoutrements, luxury beauty products and skincare goodness.
Sponsored Post: I am being compensated by noosa yoghurt for this post. All opinions of the delicious breakfast I ate are my own. :)
Last week, I was thrilled to be invited to a breakfast gathering in Fremont at with Trends on Trends and noosa yoghurt, prepared by Chef Renee Erickson at The Whale Wins. The breakfast was a meeting of the minds: creatives from the Seattle area from food to fashion to photography gathered and chatted the morning away.
Even though I’m not a food blogger, I still enjoy food. Eating it, anyway. Quite a bit actually. The spread did not disappoint. To start the morning, there was a noosa yoghurt bar, complete with toppings curated by the chef. I chose Pumpkin with walnuts, which was a sweet yet tart, extremely creamy yoghurt. The walnuts added a nice crunch.
