Do you ever sit down to do something, and just come up blank? Pretty sure that’s how I’m feeling today. Not sure if it’s because I missed my coffee this morning, my pounding right side headache that made a reappearance, or what, but I’m just feeling off my game today.

I sat down to write, and I got nothing. It’s like radio silence in my head.

The only thing I can think of lately is how much I have to do. It’s a week until Thanksgiving, and I’ve got nothing figured out to bring. I’ve also yet to look at any Black Friday ads. This is way out of the norm for me. (Actually, it’s probably better that way… I’m already over budget this month.)

What I Read November

I know, I know. I say this every month, but how is November already almost over? Next week is Thanksgiving, and of course my favorite shopping day of the year, Black Friday! I’m excited, but it’s all coming too fast for me. I still haven’t even figured out what I’m making to take to Thanksgiving yet! Eek.

But anyways, since it’s that time of month, I thought I’d update on my reading progress (or lack thereof!) If you remember, I’m trying to read 100 books this year, and that’s not looking so good for me right now. I’m hoping I can kick my reading up a notch over the holidays though. We shall see. You guys may know by now that I work in the tech industry. I am a self-professed tech geek, and I love my iPhone more than life itself. (Okay, maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but you get what I’m saying.)  Something I love about iPhones are the amazing amount of helpful apps in the App Store.

Holiday Gift Guide & $175 Giveaway!

So I know, tis the season. Welcome to the beginning of the bombardment of all the gifts you should be buying for everyone and their sister. Right? Well, I’m jumping on the bandwagon… but I’m going to try to do things a little differently.

Today, I’m going to be sharing gifts that I’ve given before, or if I haven’t given them, have wanted to. You see, I am not a gift traditionalist. I used to not really wear many scarves. Then I moved to the coldest place I’ve ever lived (Pullman, WA) for school and I about died. Give me all the scarves, I said.

Since then, I’ve added a few new ones each year to my arsenal. They keep my neck warm. They’re cute. They make accessorizing an outfit super easy since you basically don’t need to wear jewelry.

When my friend Stef mentioned she was going to start up her Etsy shop again, I was really excited. I don’t know anyone who has enough time to be able to make me scarves, and there are so many sellers to choose from on Etsy that I get overwhelmed and close the window.
