A couple of weeks ago, I had a total flashback-deja-vu type moment. I was walking into Alderwood Mall and felt like I’d done this before. I’ve been back to that mall many times since moving away from the area, but for some reason this day took me back to my high school days. Many moons ago, I was a mall worker and felt like I basically lived there. I bet you’ll never guess what my job was in a thousand years. Wait for it….

April’s Shopping Budget

Oh geez. Do I really have to talk about my shopping last month? Between the Sephora and Ulta sales that were happening, as well as a few purchases here and there, I feel like  I ordered a lot of stuff. The good news is that I didn’t keep most of my clothing purchases – however, I did fill my makeup cabinets up with purchases that I bought specifically to write about and test out. Those will be coming in the next several months and I’m kind of excited to share them.

Unlike last week, I’m pleased that today is actually Thursday and not Friday. I need all the extra time I can get to prepare for this weekend. On Saturday, I’m going to be speaking and holding a workshop at an all-day conference for 175+ high school students interested in pursuing fashion as a career. Woohoo… yeah, I’m not nervous at all.

The 5 Best Things About Owning a Shiba Inu

I felt kind of bad after I wrote 10 things you should probably know about Shiba Inus. I know most of you got that I was kind of poking fun at Rigby and his breed of weirdos, but I was also fairly serious. They’re not really for the faint of heart and I think everyone should know that, especially because I get frequent comments or emails about where one can acquire a Shibe.
