5 Shopping Tips for Scoring a Deal at the Outlet Mall

A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of visiting the Seattle Premium Outlets, located north of Seattle for a little shopping and Instagramming. Seattle Premium Outlets just started their Instagram account, and so I did a little takeover of what I was up to while shopping too! It was fun checking out the new additions and remodels that have been happening there recently. For my fellow Seattle shoppers, don’t miss the Promenade Shops located out front. The likes of Vince., DVF, Theory, and Ralph Lauren shouldn’t be missed!

I can’t believe we’re already into March! February always flies by, but even with the extra day, it still felt extra short. But, with another new month comes another Stitch Fix! I’m sure you know the drill by now, but if you’re new to my blog or Stitch Fix, it’s a clothing styling service that you can set up to receive monthly, or at your leisure. You are charged $20 as a styling fee that you can put towards anything you keep from your Fix. You can plan to receive five items – typically four clothing items and one accessory (jewelry or bags, typically) though I have seen people receive shoes!

I’m always excited to receive my monthly Fix, and I loved the dress I kept from February’s Fix last month. Obviously, I couldn’t wait to bust into my box either! I forgot to leave my stylist a note. However, I think even despite the lack of information she did an excellent job at picking out some transitional spring options!

February was my birthday month, and I don’t know about you, but I’m all about treating myself throughout the month of my birth. It’s probably just my inner shopaholic speaking, but I still think it’s important to give a little self-love every once in a while. If you asked me what the best thing I bought (clothing wise, anyway) in 2015 was, I would more than likely point to this leather moto jacket from BLANKNYC. I picked it up during the Nordstrom Semi-Annual sale in the summer and wear it at least once a week. The nice thing about Seattle weather is that we have fairly mild winters, and this year hasn’t been much different. That means that pieces I purchase for fall often get worn in every season but summer, and figuring out how to wear a moto jacket year round is something I’ve quickly mastered.

I hope you and your partner (whether that be your dog or a human, pets totally count too!) had a wonderful Valentine’s Day weekend. We spent a romantic night out on the town… and by “out on the town” I mean driving from grocery store to grocery store trying to find our favorite Beecher’s Mac & Cheese & hard root beer, because adulting. We also binged on some throwback movies. If you can believe it, Dave has never seen 10 Things I Hate About You, so obviously we had to remedy that right quick.
