Fall Fashion Must Haves

The life of a fashion blogger is not easy when it starts getting dark at 6pm and you have a full-time job… and you leave the office at 6pm. Clearly I am not used to this mayhem, and thus have no photos of my own for you today. But, now that I know, I’m going to try to better plan in advance. Can’t it just get dark at 8pm year round? I like that better.

But, I’ve been shopping a lot as usual (though not actually spending much of my own money, I’ve actually been doing pretty good this month!) and have a round-up of some of my favorite items that really scream “FALL!” to me. Continue reading

10 Things Gilmore Girls Has Taught Me

I’ve been binge watching Gilmore  Girls ever since it was released to Netflix and I have a lot of thoughts, and a lot of love, for this show. Sure, I could binge watch this show any day of the week (hello, full series DVD owner over here) but there’s something more fun about being able to just stream it. Upon Googling this fun blog post idea about things Gilmore Girls has taught me, I realized I am not that original. But that’s okay, because there’s always room for more Gilmore Girls love, am I right?

Whirlwind Month Part 2: Demi & Seven

Last week I shared the first few fashion shows and events I went to in September, which was basically my whirlwind month. It was fun, but I’ve been so happy to have my nights and weekends back!

Wrapping up my fashion week experience was the Seven Salon Illuminessence Show. This show was absolutely amazing – I would say this is much more creative than any of the other shows, with intricate hair styles, unique and beautifully crafted outfits, and fast paced music. Continue reading

I don’t know if I’ve ever been so excited to have no plans for a weekend. Seriously, I am so behind on everything that I’m just excited to have some time to catch up on my backlog of things at home and things with the blog. No one tells you that blogging is basically like a second job once you get going. It’s fun, but man is it needy.

Speaking of needy, this blog is in need of a little face lift that I’ve been putting off since I changed the design and moved to WordPress to begin with. But never fear, nothing too crazy, just cleaning things up based on feedback from the reader survey. (Which I’m still totally stoked about, you guys rock.) I know change can be rough, so if you don’t like it someone tell me. It’s like when people get spinach in their teeth and no one tells them… don’t let me be spinach teeth girl, please.

My Whirlwind Month

Remember when I said that I’ve been busy this past month? Well, I thought I’d share what I’ve been up to. The end of September was Fashion Week in Seattle and Bellevue. I have a new appreciation for those that are able to attend multiple fashion shows with outfit changes in one day AND hold a job. Just one show a day plus work is enough for me!

And sorry (or not sorry for those who love the long ones) this week is just full of lots of my words and photos! I’ve split it into sections by events so you can skim to the ones of interest. ;)
