Holiday Party Looks: Outfit, Makeup, & Double Giveaway!

Affiliate Links / Product Samples

Is it Christmas yet?! While I can’t believe it’s almost here, I am ready for it. Mostly because I get to take a few days off work and hopefully catch up on some much needed sleep. Until then, I’m back with the next in my holiday party looks series! This one is probably my favorite, as because it incorporates my favorite holiday color (red), sparkles, and fringe. Pretty much all the best things in party wear, if you ask me.

Boucle, Lace, & Giveaway

Affiliate Links / Product Sample

There’s nothing quite like a little wild and crazy storm to get you in the holiday spirit. As I’m typing this, it sounds like there’s a monsoon going on outside. I’m just grateful I don’t have to go out in it… at least not for a couple of hours! While some are getting snow, we’re over here getting flooded by rain. I’m not sure which is the better option, honestly. The last time it snowed here in Seattle, we barricaded ourselves in the house until it was gone so we didn’t have to deal with the unfortunate drivers on the road. #SeattleLife

Stitch Fix December & Giveaway

Affiliate Links

Another month, another Stitch Fix. And the last one of 2015! Pretty wild that we’re already into December. If you’re not familiar, Stitch Fix is essentially a personal styling service for those on a budget or with time constraints for shopping. Sign up, fill out a style profile, pay a $20 styling fee (that you can put towards your Fix), and wait for your box of 5 clothing items (maybe with an accessory or shoes, too!). You then can try each item on in the comfort of your home, select what you want to keep, and send the rest back in the prepaid mailing envelope.

I started my Stitch Fixes back up earlier this year and it seems to have hit a weird patch. My beloved stylist, Kimberly has vanished. Last month I had a new stylist, and again this month, a new one. Perhaps I’m a difficult customer? Who knows.

And that brings me to my bad news. I had another bust of a Stitch Fix. The good news for you? I’m starting Christmas early this year with a giveaway. Even if Stitch Fix isn’t always 100% on point for me, I thought it would be fun for someone to be able to try their own Stitch Fix risk-free by offering a $20 gift card to cover your styling fee. Even if the box isn’t 100% perfect, the experience and surprise still are! More on that below, but first, let’s take a peek at my December Stitch Fix!

Happy Black Friday! The biggest shopping day of the year is finally here. I hope you’ve scored the deals you wanted or are about to. And, if you didn’t, there’s always Cyber Monday. The past couple of years I have been pretty good about avoiding the shopping madness, but who knows about this year. The past couple of months I’ve been good about keeping my shopping budget in check so let’s hope I don’t do too much damage!

Cute & Comfortable Outfits for Thanksgiving

Affiliate Links / Product Sample

Who likes to be comfortable on Thanksgiving? This girl. And probably you too. My family (and Dave’s family too) aren’t the type to host fancy get-togethers. The food is just as good when you’re wearing glorified sweat pants as it is when you’re all gussied up, which is why my preference is comfortable outfits for every holiday.

Now, with that said, it doesn’t mean that I dress dumpy or lazily. I still use holidays as an excuse to get a new sweater, piece of jewelry, or rock a shoe that I don’t wear every day. Last year I wore a mix of casual and fun with a pop of bling. This year, I’m not 100% sure which of these three outfits I’m going to wear, but all are equally good options. Let me know down below which you think I should wear, and what you’ll be wearing to celebrate Turkey Day!
