Blackout for Black Friday

Affiliate Links / Product Samples

Happy Black Friday! The biggest shopping day of the year is finally here. I hope you’ve scored the deals you wanted or are about to. And, if you didn’t, there’s always Cyber Monday. The past couple of years I have been pretty good about avoiding the shopping madness, but who knows about this year. The past couple of months I’ve been good about keeping my shopping budget in check so let’s hope I don’t do too much damage!

Cute & Comfortable Outfits for Thanksgiving

Affiliate Links / Product Sample

Who likes to be comfortable on Thanksgiving? This girl. And probably you too. My family (and Dave’s family too) aren’t the type to host fancy get-togethers. The food is just as good when you’re wearing glorified sweat pants as it is when you’re all gussied up, which is why my preference is comfortable outfits for every holiday.

Now, with that said, it doesn’t mean that I dress dumpy or lazily. I still use holidays as an excuse to get a new sweater, piece of jewelry, or rock a shoe that I don’t wear every day. Last year I wore a mix of casual and fun with a pop of bling. This year, I’m not 100% sure which of these three outfits I’m going to wear, but all are equally good options. Let me know down below which you think I should wear, and what you’ll be wearing to celebrate Turkey Day!

One Way to Style Your V Neck

Affiliate Links

When I showed Dave my “concept” for this outfit, his first thought was, “Are you going for the school girl look?” I had to laugh because it does remind me a lot of infamous Gwen Stefani Harajuku Girls video minus the ties, knee socks, and the pigtails. ;) I’ve loved the athleisure trend that’s been happening for the past year or more, and this sweater is a nice transition piece between fall and winter. There are so many options as to what to wear with a v neck sweater, and this is one combo that (to me) is anything but boring.

Another 70s Inspired Boho Outfit

Well, it’s official. It’s November and I’m freezing. Full disclosure: I actually shot this outfit back in September, and held it for a cooler day. With so many in the middle of a heat wave, it felt funny to post something so not warm weather friendly. Now, however, it’s suddenly cooled off here and is continuing to stay in the 40s and 50s during the day and I wouldn’t be caught dead with bare legs outside. Maybe that’s just me though, I’m basically perpetually cold when it’s below 60 degrees. ;)

Stitch Fix November 2015

Affiliate Links: If you click a link below, I may receive a small commission if you sign up. I pay for this subscription.

Happy November! Of course I kicked off the month with another Stitch Fix. I’m always surprised at when these show up on my door step because it signifies another close to another month. Kind of bittersweet, but with November comes Thanksgiving, and we’re another month closer to Christmas, my favorite holiday of course!

I won’t lie: this month’s Stitch Fix isn’t my favorite. My old stylist, Kim, seems to be MIA and I’m now being styled by Kate. While I think she did a good job of sticking to my style profile and following things I’ve pinned recently, I just am not blown away by any one piece. You’ll have to give me your feedback in the comments below, as I still have one more day to consider keeping any of the items! Without further ado, onto this month’s Stitch Fix!
